The objective of this study was to establish an efficient methodology to investigate biotransformation products of oligonucleotides in human biological samples (plasma, urine, and feces). Separation of oligonucleotide drug and its metabolites from biological matrices, optimization of mass spectral conditions, data mining to search for drug related compounds, and metabolite identification were investigated.
