Presented at the 2016 ASHG conference, this presentation highlights the development of a novel sequence signature-based approach for identifying HLA alleles in RNA-sequencing data. This approach, taken by IQVIA Laboratories experts, enables quick, accurate and reproducible HLA typing in support of large pre-clinical research programs that are already exploring these data for differential expression and antigen presentation, with no additional lab work and with minimal additional computational resource requirements.
