Founded in 1993 as Oncotest, the Freiburg, Germany location (formally Charles River Freiburg) was acquired by IQVIA Laboratories in 2026 to expand our drug discovery offering. The Freiburg facility specializes in oncology drug discovery and supports a wide range of in vitro and in vivo oncology research. With an industry-leading range of patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models and a dedicated team of approximately 100 professionals, including PhDs, DVMs, and MScs, the site maintains a strong focus on scientific excellence and humane animal care.
