Comprehensive Oncology Services in Freiburg
Founded in 1993 as Oncotest, a spin-off of the University of Freiburg, the site was acquired in 2015 by Charles River Discovery, now part of IQVIA Laboratories, to enhance its oncology discovery capabilities. The Freiburg facility specializes in patient-derived xenograft studies and supports a wide range of in vitro and in vivo oncology research. With a dedicated team of approximately 100 professionals, including PhDs, DVMs, and MScs, the site maintains a strong focus on scientific excellence and humane animal care.
